Make This YOUR Year!

Happy New Year 2022! I couldn’t think of a better time for a fresh start, than the beginning of a new year. Only this time, I want this to be something you will stick with and make a part of your life.

I’ve always been a responsible, hard working adult. Having joined the workforce in my teenage years, I’ve always kept a job and relied on my paycheck as my sole income. I didn’t really think I can make much more than I was making, since I had no college education and I didn’t think I was capable enough for a huge promotion.

My life consisted of going to work Monday thru Friday, getting home in the evenings to watch TV and have dinner, and looked forward to the weekends when I could finally have “my free time.” And of course the annual two week vacation destination, which always got me excited. Although I had an inkling to do more with my life, I didn’t think it was possible for me…I didn’t think I had the time, didn’t think I was smart or talented enough. So I continued on.

Fast forward some years to the birth of my daughter. When it was time for me to return to work after my maternity leave, my husband and I decided it was best for our family for me to stay home with our child. And that is when I became a stay at home mom (SAHM). If you know anything about children, then you know they want ALL of your time! What am I saying, they demand all of your time. Being a SAHM is truly a full time and a half job. Despite that, there are also other things I do like managing my household.

Despite my schedule being fuller now, I have managed my time to include things I never found the time to do before. I’ve been able to workout and lose 10 lbs, read more, and write this blog. The main difference in being able to do all of this now is

1. Believing I can do it.

2. Managing my time in the most efficient way.

If I was able to accomplish this, I know the same holds true for you. I am no different than you. Just imagine yourself with an extra couple of hours everyday! What would you want to get accomplished? How would you feel after you got everything you wanted to get done, done? Would your life improve in any way? Maybe you’d have time to dedicate to those projects around the house, start a new exercise program, spend more quality time with your significant other…the options are endless. But how amazing would that extra time be for you?

How can you find more time to dedicate to the things you want to create?
